Structural Console
Console
Mass anchored by iron, held in place by weight.
The edge remains uncut because the tree did not grow straight.
Commission Philosophy
If this object enters physical production, it does so only as a singular commission.
Pricing reflects time, material selection, and structural complexity.
Objects are not priced in advance. Each commission begins with a conversation.
Materials
Oak planks, selected for thickness and natural boundary.
Forged steel corners and straps, left with hammer marks.
Integrated light beneath, secondary to structure.
Process
The live edge dictates final width. Iron follows wood, not the reverse.
Drawers are fitted after assembly, when the frame has settled.
Light is recessed during construction, cannot be added later.

Presence
The iron will oxidize. The wood will move with humidity.
Production Approach
Objects would be produced exclusively on request.
Limited yearly output. One object at a time.
Expected Timeframe
Production time would range from several weeks to months, depending on scale, materials and technical requirements.

This object currently exists as a concept. A commission would reinterpret it, not reproduce it.
